I saw that one. I would be all over that one if it wasn't such a rustbucket. It is optioned pretty much like what I am seeking. Thank you very much for posting the link.

I know where a dark blue (looks a lot like Lucerne Blue) one is sitting in a garage, I have know this car for better than 30 years. I do belive he blew up the original 400 but may still have it. I thing a BBC is currently in the car. It is a factory floor shift three speed car, no AC and I installed an aftermarket radio in it back around 1980. I do not know if it is for sale or not but it has been off the road in a garage for many years, it is on jack stands and collecting dust. If I recall correctly it has blue interior as well but it has been a long time. I do remember removing the factory chrome exhaust tips and tossing them in the trash. Funny that I remember doing this, I remember they were very heavy duty.

Joe Sparks has the nicest black 4spd but I dont think he will part with it, at least I hope not. I have a 455 73' GTO But its not for sale. Good luck on your search, it took me 15 years to find the right car.

I appreciate the lead.

However, I must have a 4 speed, and a good looking color.

Thanks for the link. That particular car would be great if it wasn't so rough/disassembled. Looking for a driver or better.

Red face

I appreciate the lead, but the car is not a 3 or 4 speed manual. I saw this one on E-Bay last fall, but I don't believe it sold. The car is looks to be Admirality Blue. I may have to buy an auto and convert it over, but I don't really want to do that.

There is a 4spd car in Wisconsin, I was going to trade the guy for my 76' 455 T/A but he did not go threw with the deal. The Car had been wrecked at one time in the front end. The hood was wrong and both A-arms are welded on. I will look for the guys e-mail address if you want.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't want a car with previous accident damage if at all possible.

Not my car. Here's a link to a '73 GTO that is listed in the Los Angeles Craigslist.

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac...143678152.html

1973 GTO 3 Speed Coupe Rare 1 0f 187 PHS Docs (AZ)

Very Rare 1973 GTO Colonnade Hard Top Coupe with its ORIGINAL L78 WS Code 400 4bbl. and 3 Speed Manual Transmission. Comes with Pontiac Historical Services Documents. PHS Verified as a real GTO. There was only 4806 GTO's Produced in 1973. The lowest production of any year. 4312 were sport coupes with the louvered rear side glass. 494 were the regular Colonnade Coupes with plain rear side glass like this car. Only 187 of the Colonnade roofed cars were manual transmission cars like this one. There is no further break down between 3 or 4 speed cars. So, this car is very rare, Probably less than 100 3 speed stick cars were made since most were probably 4 speed.
