Default 400 engine in a 1960, simple question

When installing a 1967 ,400 engine in a 1960 ventura.Anyone know what motor mounts to use?I researched all the other info related to this swap but and is the only one I havent run into yet.Thanx in advance.

Use the '60 mounts. You do know about the bellhousing differences, etc, etc, I hope.

I got a short tail 400 turbo trans,,,and I'm really looking forward to the drive shaft re-do.

Why....If it's a hot street/strip car the old two piece will work fine. I ran the original drive shaft with some good solid U-joints and it held for years behind a 600HP motor...
With a short shaft trans you may run into DS lenght/angle problems...why a short tail ??!! Just go with the original DS and just shorten front section if neded. Just be sure to keep factory angles ...
You do know you have to cut the H out of frame at rear of tunnel...for a one piece DS conversion..

Im keeping the 2 piece drive shaft.

I was told by an old transmission man, that I would be better off with a short tail 400 trans as the 2 piece drive shaft would only have to be shortened a little bit.I was told by the same that a long tail trans wouldnt work as well as a short.Am I getting bad advice??
