Default 1st Gen Firebird on Vise Grip Garage

I just watched the latest VGG where that Derek guy gets his 80 Vette running, drives it 700 miles through a winter storm and trades it for a 1st gen Bird sight unseen that hasn’t run in 10 years. No details were given on the Bird he just lifted a car cover for a second to show what he just traded for.

Next episode he gets the Bird running and tries to drive it 700 miles back to Minnesota.

I love VGG.

The Bird looked pretty decent in the quick teaser shot. Hopefully it doesn't give him too much of a fight.

Nice to see a Firebird making it into a TV show let’s hope the faithful don’t tear it to pieces online and make the Guys who made the show regret ever using a Firebird. You know how that goes . The third bolt on the left hand exhaust manifold looked like it once had a wrench on it. And the patina on the Neg battery terminal only looked like it had 40 years on it not 52 years

I understand that has a time and place but sometimes you just gotta be happy anyone gives a crap about Firebirds enough to add it in their show., because without that the interest fades.
