I'm looking to do some major interior work on my '63. I am planning to switch from my crank windows to a set of factory-looking power lifts and vents. Can anyone attest to the quality of the replacement panels available from Ames and whether the back sides are marked in the correct places for the window switches?

I used their GP panels and they were very good. They were marked for the handles. You have to be aware that the panels don't come with the top metal piece that holds it to the door. You have to remove your old one and reuse it.

Indeed, I expect to have to swap over the top metal, the metal trim between the carpet and the vinyl, and the crest between the two chrome ribs. The switch locations were/are a concern for me, as I have no current templates for where they should (correctly) be cut.

Thankfully, my rear quarters, armrests, and top piston covers all look presentable, and I plan to keep them for the time being. Of course, after all of the new stuff goes in, I might change my tune.
