I run 215/55/17's and 245/50/17's on my car. I would have gone with 255/50/17 on the rear if they would have been available in the tires I purchased - they would have fit even with my wider 12 bolt rear. My grandson worked for Continental and I got his employee purchase price - so I have less than $400 in my Continental ExtremeContact DWS06's.
I considered the 225/50's for the front, but opted for the 215/55's for two reasons: 1. They are a little taller 2. Just to be safe that I wouldn't have a tire rub (wider track than stock because of Wilwood front disc brakes) |
