Default 64 Catalina headliner rods

Can someone tell me or show me a picture of the order the headliner rod go onto the car. Mine are rusted and no paint on ends. I didn't remove them. They were in the trunk.

Hi Jeff,
I know this is an older post, but
Did you ever figure out your headliner bows ?
Mine are getting ready to put back in in my 1963. I could measure mine for you.
Mine is 5 bows.

No I never got them sorted. I did however find out I have a 6 bow liner. The center one is still hooked to the ceil. But measurements would help me. Thanks

I’m into the bodywork now and oh boy I’m having fun!! Said nobody!!

Hi Jeff,
I sent a reply, but I do not see it posted. Maybe because I am new to this forum.
Here are the measurements for the 5 rods I have.
#1: 55-1/8"
#2: 55"
#3: 53"
#4: 55-1/8"
#5: 55-5/8"
I mark my rods with a metal center punch.
Rod #1: one punch on the rod
Rod#2: two punches on the rod
Rod#3: three punches on the rod
etc. etc for #4 & #5 rods.
That way if you wire wheel them, sand blast or sand the rods the punch marks are always there.
I tried using numbers 1 - 5 punches, but the numbers were hard to see in comparison to the other way.
Good luck,

Thank you for your help. Do you know what hardware holds the coat hook screws in? My hardware was missing when I got the car.

Hi Jeff,
Just a regular #6 or #8 chrome plated screw holds the coat hooks in place.
