Default Oldsmobile "Type O" 12-bolt/10-bolt rear end

Had this rear end lying around and finally figured out what it was. Casting no. 394139, which shows to be 1967-1969 A-body. Other codes casted onto the center section are "BU" and "CFD 8." Axle ratio stamping on the tube is SA, which looks to be 2.78:1 open. Opened up the cover, carrier shows casting no. 358, which supports this. Looks like water has been inside at some point, and the spider gears are not in place (see pics for more details). Looks like this could be a rebuildable core for someone needing a replacement or spare parts. Not trying to make a killing on this thing, but could use the money to put towards my student loans.

I live in Jackson, MS and the rear end is at my parents' house near Memphis, TN. Not really looking to ship, local pickup much preferred. Asking $200, but I'm definitely willing to talk. Feel free to PM me, email me at searsjaylan@gmail.com, or text me at (901) 604-8560.

Thanks! -Jaylan

Good luck. I have the exact same rear under my 68. Watching to see if there's any interest as mine will be swapped out in the very near future and available.

I'll take $100 local pick up. Need it gone!
