2017 Pypes/Max Open House & Car Show June 16-17
It's back again for the 7th time! We are just about a month away from our annual open house and car show. Pontiacs have always led the way in the car count so lets keep them growing as our event this year is going for 500+ cars! It is not an official 2 day event with a cruise in on Friday and show day on Saturday.
On Friday (June 16), we have an afternoon cruise-in, then a casual cruise through the local area and end up back at Pypes facility for a free BBQ. Show time is 12:00 pm - 5pm. Cruise around town takes place around 6pm. Saturday (June 17) is an all day car show extravaganza. We have a Muscle Car & Truck show, a Mustang show and an all Pontiac show. Also a free cruise-in section for those who just want to check out the show with their antique vehicle. Show time is 8:30am - 5pm. New this year we will have Ames Performance on the grounds with their parts trailer vending both Friday and Saturday. Be sure to call ahead to place pickup orders or find what you need at their trailer on the midway. FEATURED CARS: 1968 Firebird Ram Air II Convertible (only 8 produced) 1969 Trans Am Convertible (#8 of 8 produced) 1973 Firebird Formula SD (only 10 produced) This is an event not to be missed. Most of the midway is now setup. Both days look like pretty good weather. Maybe a shower or two here or there.
Midway will open around 11am tomorrow. Auction pre-view all day Cruise-in 12-5 Music all day I'm available if anybody wants a tour of the facility Cruise through Lansdale 5:30-6:00ish Back to event for a free bbq for all drivers and family members. Saturday all 3 car shows going on at once Indoor and Outdoor hospitality suites Free Coffee and Donuts 50 year old Speed Shop Auction all day Live Music Midway is open all day Food court featuring local establishments Free Cruise-in area for those that don't need to be actually 'in' the show or can't stay all day. Saturday Night- Lansdale under the lights Car show Hope everyone comes out to take advantage of what our crew has setup for all of you. Proceeds go to ALS Philadelphia Chapter
