well last sunday i thought i was the day. took off from a light slowly and laid into it at 3500rpm. heard a boom. i was like there goes the rear. drove it 2 miles home 15 mph.

the stock torque arm sheered off the rear and was barely holding on by one out of the four bolts

DAMN...........that sucks,I take it your WS6 isnt"stock"?
I love the looks of your car,it's what I want,oh well,I can't swing it with the other two second gens,too much..

Duane , just buy the hood , thats all you need to get the look and they are under a grand ( unpainted ) thats what I am doing to my 96 to make it look better .

actually it is pretty stock, all stock exhaust. got the lid and little stuff...lets just say it looks and feels stock til you gun it. its pretty sad because i dont beat the car. have yet to do a burn out or a "launch". absolutely no sticky tire.

I read that the bolts might loosen which stress that point...so that's possible, but this can just "happen" with these cars.
Either way, I rolled into the throttle with out the clutch in other words, no shock or torque multiplication from the clutch.
