Default 2000 door mess

OK folks I finally had my 2000 Ram Air Conv drivers side power window replaced {168 in labor, 65 for new motor, about 250 total. I tried to presuade the repair guy to try and fix the little cracks forming in the door panels. He quoted a couple hours labor, with no idea on how they would come out. Anybody have good results with this repair? Anybody have a crack free drivers side Ebony panel for sale? At Norwalk, the judges said they dont deduct for these cracks, but Im sure they "notice them". Thanks again.

I have a spare but think is pass side.
you need to remove the staples and enlarge the holes, then reinstall every other one
or the cracks will get worse.
Also check and make sure the guy used the correct large head rivets on the window motor reinstall.
All those $$$$ makes me glad I do my own....

I believe that the cracks are mostly in 2000-02 cars. Not even 98 or 99 seem to get them.

I just bought some seats out of a 99 Trans Am, the guy was also selling the door panels, they looked like they were in ok shape, no cracks though
