Default Front Bumper, Ames Performance Has Two Options, Good Quality and Excellent Quality

I was about to order a front and rear bumper today, but the "Excellent Quality Front Bumper", part B199V is out of stock. I called Ames to find out when this part would be available and the guy who answered said "No idea". Usually, they have some idea of when an out-of-stock-part will arrive.

So my other front bumper option is part B199VA and this part is titled "Good Quality Front Bumper" on page 95 of the G37 catalog. I would like to hear opinions and feedback from anyone who has bought either bumper.

I can't speak to the quality of the bumpers, but I imagine that there may be in this case 2 people making these bumpers at the most. Check this out, AMD has a pretty good reputation for fit and quality. https://www.autometaldirect.com/amd-...t-p-18854.html

I bought AMD front and rear bumpers too
The chrome is excellent.
It took about 5 hours to fit and align both bumpers
They were close but needed to be tweaked with shims and chain bar
Honestly I think any repro bumper you buy will need to be tweaked . I was more concerned about the chrome finish and very pleased

Due to the world shipping issues, many things seem to be out with no time idea for replacements.

So true!
I ordered an interior for my next project
And was told the lead time was 8 months
I placed my order for the entire interior and got lucky
I got a call saying they got a complete white interior
I bought it instantly

I'm in the same boat with some items, and probably more that I don't yet know about.

My front and rear bumpers arrived today. I bought them from National Parts Depot because they have a warehouse within a few hours of my home, that's why I bought them from NPD. Regrettably, though, they didn't have the attaching hardware such as bolts with a chrome heads. So I bought these from Ames. I think the finish looks really good.

It was years ago when I removed the old rusty bumpers. I certainly can't remember what bolts go where. Can anyone provide instructions or a diagram of what bolts go where?
