The guy is a car dealer by trade. He got my phone # thru the grape vine, contacted me about buying my SD Formula ( which i did not advertize for sale ) and made me a low ball offer. He told me he had a 73 and 74 SD Formula's and was trying to buy more. But you know how that is, the whole sale retail game.

I dont think I ever have seen a 73 SD Formula with a Vinyl Top and would be cool (with or without that rear spoiler).
I like his statement "Shakes the Ground when idling"

Brew,
I thought all SD's shook the ground when they Idle.

A Vinyl top and all your missing is bumper gaurd's and a luggage rack to complete the sleeper look......

Nice, I want a 4speed sooo bad!! Come on lotto! Is the price reflecting the economy? I would think and almost all original low mileage 4spd 74 sd 455 should go for more.

Even green? wow! some people are crazy! Seriously, I have not seen a manual 74 sd455 going for less than 65-70k in a while in this condition, seems like automatics are all over nowadays. plus how many of the original 212 manuals are left?

John, I don't know why it shows FL, me and the car are still in 5 degree and windy NE. It is a real nice car, could use a few things to bring it up a level but they are minor and not costly.

As judge273 said "don't complain about the low price". That's for me to do. Seriously, if it sells it will be right at what I gave a year ago. Hopefully someone can get it, keep it and enjoy as it is a really nice fun car. Market is tough right now and mid winter doesn't help. I would do better in the spring which may happen anyway if it doesn't go this round.

I really like the car. again, I just think that if anyone is in the market for a 74 sd455 manual, this one is well price. I know I would jump on it if I could, best of luck with the sale.

my recollection was it made at least a half dozen runs on eBay when the previous owner was asking $57k, and now at least a half dozen times at $99k.

From what I recall, it actually sold for $57,000 to the guy who is constantly relisting it for $100K, now.

Default Hey

I have been watching this forum for a couple of years taking in what knowledge you guys have. Great Website and forum. Anyway the guy with silver formula will have to come off that kinda of money soon cause the market cant bear that number. Seems as the average guy with family cant afford any of this stuff anymore. Gave up on hotrods in 2001 because i could not afford thyem and began putting cars back to stock and hell thats more than aftemarket these days! LOL Brad

So what do we say this Formula should be selling for?
Around $60 - 65K would be my guesstimate.
