2014 4th ANNUAL
PERFORMANCE YEARS
OPEN HOUSE & CAR SHOW

The Performance Years and Pypes Exhaust Open House and Car Shows is a 2-day event for owners and fans of American made cars and trucks. On Friday night, we create a more casual feel with an afternoon cruise-in, casual cruise through the local town and finish with some great food. Saturday is an all day car show extravaganza. We have an ALL PONTIAC car show, an ALL MUSTANG car show, "A Celebration of American Cars & Trucks" show, a free cruise-in area, featured cars, tons of activities and plenty of food for everyone.

Each year this event is growing larger and larger. We're expecting over 300 Pontiacs, over 300 other American cars & trucks plus more than 3000 spectators at our 2014 Open House. This year's show features all the same activities as years past, plus these new additions:

DEBATING ON MAKING THE TRIP TO HATFIELD, PA FOR THE WEEKEND?

Every year we hear people say, "Yea, I heard that's a great show! Wish I could come." Why not make this year the time to plan and come to beautiful Hatfield, PA for our 4th Annual Open House & Car Show? We are expecting to possibly hit 400 Pontiacs this year! Ranging from mid-century to present day rides.

This year we will be celebrating the 50th anniversaries of the GTO and Mustang. 50 years ago, Pontiac was credited with launching the musclecar era by being the first to put a big V8 in a little car (the 1964 GTO) and over at nearby Ford, the Mustang was establishing itself as the premier Pony car. Why not come out and celebrate both these momentus occasions!

Accommodations? Hatfield has got you covered! Whether you would like to travel out in your camper or RV and stay right on the show field, or stay at one of the nearby hotels, the local area has plenty to offer. The Holiday Inn and the brand new Marriott offer plenty of accommodations and are within just a couple miles of the show.

Last year we had our biggest turnout with attendees spanning from all across the country. Last year, this was the largest Pontiac Show on the East Coast. This year it will be the largest Pontiac show in the country! Be a part of the experience this year and plan your trip to Pennsylvania today.

PHILADELPHIA ATTRACTIONS

The Performance Years & Pypes Exhaust Open House is only 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia. With all of the history, culture and entertainment in Philadelphia, we recommend you plan an extended trip to see the best our area has to offer.

Attractions to See:

Dorney Park - The park features eight roller coasters, other adult and children's rides, and a waterpark, Wildwater Kingdom. It features some of the world's most prominent roller coasters, including Steel Force, the ninth longest steel roller coaster in the world and the longest on the U.S. East Coast.

Six Flags Great Adventure - Six Flags Great Adventure is the largest theme park in the world, covering more land than any other amusement park in the world — 510 acres — 10 acres larger than Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Atlantic City/Jersey Shore - Atlantic City is a must see for anyone who hasn't seen the lights of Las Vegas before. We call it mini-Vegas. Plenty of entertainment for adults and families as well. Of course, there are the beautiful NJ beaches as well.

Franklin Institute - The Franklin Institute has been a favorite destination for Philadelphia families since 1934, when the Institute opened its science museum side. Kids love to tramp through the giant heart, learn about electricity and see movies in the IMAX theater. Parents love that their kids are learning and having a good time doing it.

Valley Forge - Valley Forge was the site of the 1777-78 winter encampment of the Continental Army. The park commemorates the sacrifices and perseverance of the Revolutionary War generation and honors the ability of citizens to pull together and overcome adversity during extraordinary times. One of the most beautiful parks in PA.

Independence Hall - They risked everything — “their lives, their fortune and their sacred honor.” During the blistering summer of 1776, 56 courageous men gathered at the Pennsylvania State House and defied the King of England. Eleven years later, representatives from 12 states gathered to shape the U.S. Constitution, finally creating one unified nation.

Philadelphia Museum of Art - Like Philadelphia’s own Parthenon, the Philadelphia Museum of Art sits majestically on a rise at the end of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The vast collections of this temple of art make it the third-largest art museum in the country, and an absolute must-see on the city’s cultural circuit. Plus climb the very steps in the iconic Rocky montage scene.

Phillies Baseball - If you are a baseball fan, catching a Phillies game is a must. CBP is one of the most interactive and famous ballparks in the country. The Phillies are in the midst of a home stand conveniently June 10-15th.

Honestly, there is too much stuff to list here or we'd all be reading this for days and days. Other options include Sesame Place, the Liberty Bell, Philadelphia Zoo, Lancaster County, Camden Waterfront Aquarium and of course, don't forget to find your favorite cheese steak spot!
