Factory steel wheel colors.
Decided to go with 15" steel wheels on my Catalina. Car will be Montero red. What color should the steel rims be. I don't think all cars got black rims regardless of body color.

Did the B bodies have the option like the A bodies to pay extra and have the wheels painted body color?

Is there a link to a documented case of this? I collect oddball PHS/tags that I come across and this is a new one to me.

I ran across it when looking for wheel color as it left the factory on my 62 GP.When I bought it,it had 8 lugs but on the PHS it had A for the 3rd letter which would have been blk.On the top of Petes book on pg 116 it explains the 3rd letter as wheel color. This was for 61-63 cars. Was told if you ordered a car you could request body color or blk.Tom
