Default 73 SD Parts

Where would be the best place to advertise some 73 SD parts?
I have an original block, crank, rods and heads.
Most likely Ebay?
Thanks,
Darryl

So I read a claim made on Facebook. Thought I'd check some facts.

In 73 Formula production equalled

33 Automatic
10 Manual
43 Total

Only 6 known to exist?

I know of

Brewster
Florentine Red
2 Admiralty Blue
2 Cameo White
2 Ascot Silver

This is what I've seen and heard their might be a black one, and sure there's a red one...

Anyone else want to add?

I forgot to check the registry,

6 known seems low, and a few are survivor cars.

Hi folks. I am putting together a "wall hanger" display in my garage "cave" of various Pontiac and other valve covers and their oil caps and was wondering if anyone has a picture of an SD oil filler cap without the pcv hose attached to it. Just trying to replicate a set of valve covers to look like factory for my display. I know this is an odd question but thanks for your help.

Hey guys, I'm looking at getting one of these stickers from an ebay auction. Does anyone know if the '73s had white filters, or were they blue by then?

here is a post on NJ Steve's car with what appeared to be an original filter or a very early replacement to the car that was white with that lettering:

there is a little more in the replies on page 8 as well.

That is a very cool filter, but I certainly hope that's a replacement!

Not exactly an answer to your question, but........it is my understanding that the assembly line installed oil filters had no numbers on them at all. There was only one choice for a V-8 filter by then, so while the decal looks nice, I see no reason to use one. Also, the filters were in place when the engines were painted so that nice decal should have blue paint all over it.

Larry Navarro's old '73 SD, this car has evidently been finished almost a year but I just came across the video.
The car looks incredible...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEScZxjPnqQ

Sunroofs were offered and advertised for the "A" body cars. Brochures were offered to prospective buyers featuring the options that were available.
However, it is documented in Pontiac literature that the sunroof could be ordered for "F" body cars but wasn't "promoted" like was done for the large body cars.
"Historians" will argue the fact but when "money talks"........well you know.

The car on ebay doesn't appear to have the same cutout or as the typical ASC version offered at the time. Too bad there is no birdseye view of the roof.

The sunroof was not installed at Norwood as part of the assembly line process. It was sent to ASC for installation. To say that it was factory installed is very misleading. Kind of like the early T-tops.
