Was that a slow Q16 because I know I could have made that show...
On the gamblers race last night it came down to Greg Weigart and Rick (Probird) and Greg won the final. When I got to the track this morning I found out I had gotten into the money last night so I picked it up...today in first round of Eliminations I broke the input shaft on my T400...my 1/8th at 3375 lbs was 5.96 at 115 and the shaft became a 2 piece at about 900 feet...

Should be one qualifying round tomorrow. They take the top 8 of closed cars, then add some to the 'Open' side to make 16 total.
So next slowest after the top 8 will go in Open side. With only 2 dragsters, 6 more from #9 to #14 will go in Q16. But there are sometimes breakage that will take the even slower cars to fill the Q16.

George, where are you pitted? You closer to the top end? What time you bring the car out in the morning? Would like to stop by to see the car. Either way, good luck tomorrow!

Congratulations to Mike Cooper with the quickest Pontiac powered car on the property this weekend. His machine ran clean and smooth the 2 runs I was able to see. I think his best was a 6.13 @ 230+ in qualifying. Spoke to him a couple times in the pits. The track couldn't quite hold the available power so he had to adjust to track conditions. (had to back it down a little to stay hooked down track). More left on the table. Car looks and sounds great. Lots of great Q16 and pro cars running hard as always. Perfect weather and a great event.

JR. got runner up Sat. nite. He went from a 000 RT in the semis to a .074 in the final. Go figure.
