That’s something I’ve thought about, too. I’d think that if the narrow space in the rear wheel Wells isn’t an issue, it can be done.

It can be done, but I can't help with any details on what it entails.
PMD had plans to offer them on the A-Body platform but it was said to be too costly.

thanks for the responses, they look good, would like them better with blackwalls, or red lines.

I would look into getting the factory specs of the early B-Bodies rear axle and front spindles to determine what it may entail.
Knowing the rear drum bolt, pattern/backspace along with spindle dimensions would at least give you a starting point.

Maybe it's the wide whites, or the black paint between the fins, but ….

I don't love it.

And that's coming from someone who's been an 8 lug fan for a very long time.

Scarebird has been working on a long term project that would recreate the look of a factory 8 lug wheel by using a flat plate that would bolt to the hub, with a 3D printed decorative cap on top to mimic the 8 lug hub. If it ever comes to fruition, I'd think the design could be adapted to match the bolt pattern of an A body. https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...d.php?t=846445

Personally I prefer the look of the early 8 lugs that didn't have the black paint between the fins, along with the skinny trim rings instead of the later ones that covered the entire rim. On the '61 Bonneville convertible I used to own, I ran the 8 lug wheels with no trim rings at all and I thought that looked pretty good, too.

I just looked at the wide whites as a nod to early years
