I HAVE A TRIPOWER SETUP. INTAKE CAST # IS 978818.I KNOW IT IS PRE-66 AS IT HAS SMALL CENTER CARB. IS IT BIG CAR OR GTO? THANKS

I think when you posted you left one 7 out of the casting number. Casting number 9778818 is the 1965 tri-power, small base Rochester carb in the center. For GTO and big cars, same number.

Can you send me a Pix?
the later 65 Tri-power has the same bolt pattern as the 65-79 Pontiac heads. If so it is a 65.
If it has the early bolt pattern and the long ears on the intake it is a 64. [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif[/img]
