Default Poverty Hubcaps (Dog Dish) Wanted

Hello Guys, I'm looking for a nice set of Poverty caps(64-71 type) for my '65 Catalina. The AMES catalog has them for $269 a set(PT125). I didn't want to go that high because the poverty caps will be a temporary look until next year. THANKS, Peter

Peter, good luck. I looked for a used set for awhile and to my surprise they were not easy to find. These things used to be everywhere at one time when nobody wanted them. The Ames price should clue you in on the "hard to find used" status as well.

Check out ebay. I might take a few weeks, but there is usually a set on there.

I might have a set up for sale from my car...... I did the same thing, bought them as a temporary look until I get the car painted....

I am looking to have the car painted possibly soon, so I was going to sell the caps before the car went to the bodyshop....

They are truly just a "driver" set, some black coloring worn off, .... look great from >10ft away....

Let me know if you want them, I just want to get back what I paid for them...
