Default lifters

Congrats on getting your beautiful grand prix going.

I'm having some lifter tick issues as well....Can you provide more detail on your lifter issue? What lifters did you use as replacements? (brand, and where did you get them?) - Did you replace the entire set of lifters or just a few?

I used comp lifters and replaced them all.The summit lifter was junk 2 of them but one was real bad
however I just found the oil has metal in it and think I could have wiped out the cam .I pulling the engine to check it out
what a bummer but I have to do it .Im pulling the intake in the morning and starting the teardown .Ill keep you posted
NO MORE SUMMIT FOR ME

The Summit cams are the Old Wolverine Cam Brand FWIW, These Days Flat Tappets aren't even worth the Trouble, A nice lill Hyd roller is a Much better way to go IMHO

made a custom hood liner expensive but turned out nice.
i need some man power to help get the hood on just had a heart cath and cant lift 10 lbs

Bob, that is nice! Never seen anything like it before. Now thats a molded hood pad! Wish I was closer, I'd be happy to give you a hand since I already know those hood hinges.
