I've read that there were 442 1970 Judges built in Oshawa, Canada. I have not seen a color breakdown of those cars.

Add one more to your poll. Here's a pic of mine & it's starting to come together now. I haven't seen production #'s for OO Canadian Judge's but total GTO 1970 production for OO was right at 618.

Mine is an Orbit Orange RAIII Auto, I know from the PHS documentation I received for my car, that there was 442 judges built in Canada and I have seen other information that states that overall there were 668 or so Orbit Orange painted judges in total. I just wonder how many were Canadian built OO's.

Here is the ever-elusive #4 OO Canadian. I forgot which one of our members owns this Judge - so forgive me on that.
Actually, when you're considering 1970 Judges that were built in a country whose national symbol and flag is a Marijuana Leaf - at least half of those 442 Judges were probably Orbiting Oranges. I'd like to have a Canadian Built 70 Judge also, in any color. I just like all the codes on the data plates. All were D-port Cars, don't know if they built any of the 17 455HO Judges in 70 or not. PY member CDN2PLS2 has a tremendous amount of data on 70 GTO & Judge. He might could supply some additional info, maybe. |

Dumb question, Sorry about that, I just checked my PHS after I sent the last reply and found the codes there. My PHS states 1866 "70" GTO's and 442 with WT1 Judge option, which info is correct?
Based on this new info, if I'm reading it right, ther were only 45 Canadian RAIII's with the M40 TMH 400 Automatic Transmission. I think my car is more rare than I originally thought, where did you find this info? |

1866 GTO and 442 Judge, are the amount SOLD inside Canada. Would be a combination of those built and sold in Canada - plus those built in the U.S. and exported/sold into Canada.
Some of the Oshawa Judges may have been exported to U.S. or even abroad. The 288 is the number they produced in Oshawa. Going by the statistics of the drivetrain breakdowns. So the correct answer depends on which question you want ask - in the end. Good things to know, too. I dig that groovy Red Pot Plant flag. I hope to retire to Canada in my golden days, and smoke some of that non-illegal red pot plant anytime I get the itch, and drive at least a couple mean ass Pontiacs around in some town up there. You rascals have it made in the shade. Seen about 10-12 Canadian Judges on internet and majority have been Orbiting O. (5-6) with Polar Bear White second (3). (1) Bronze/Brown (1) Dk.Green (1) Sienna |
