$100..........It's not a split bench if that's what you are looking for just a standard Tempest/Lemans bench.

Only a split seam on the drivers side bottom the rest is dirty but nice.
I can email pics to you if you want.

Shipping ? Good question........much too big for UPS. Probably would have to build a crate and ship truck freight. Dunno how much that would cost until it was crated and weighed.

I am open to suggestions..

im thinking im going to need the split bench. i know my kids would LOOOVE to have to climb over the seat to get in and out but as the head upholsterer i would have to say no.

32k original miles on it, but the cover needs replaced
Tracks and all, nice...

let me do some research on shipping. is it possible to dissasemble the seat into 3 pieces? bottom, and the 2 backs?

Check with Greyhound on shipping, they don't require as much when it comes to boxing it. You could possibly just wrap it w/cardboard & shrinkwrap if you plan on recovering it anyway.

agreed - greyhound is the only way i could see it getting done, and it's probably too big for even them

The seat will come apart pretty easily. A couple of clips need to be removed, one on each side at the hinge point to pull the backs off.

At least on my '64 bench it came apart that way, can't imagine a '67 would be much different.

Greyhound should be able to ship it, the biggest bottom part isn't all that big or heavy all by itself.

i have a split bench seat out of a 64 tempest custom its red and will need recovered i dont know if they are the same but your more than welcome to it? whatever is a fair price i dont need it.i can take some pics if you are interested?

Jeff, yes, please send or post some pics. i received my 66 bench seat covers yesterday and want to eyball it agains your 64 to see if it look like it will fit.

my new covers have what look like 45/45 split with a fold down center/armrest. does that sound right??
