Default Another Pepper Green

Hey,

This isn't a judge, but it's got the stripes. You probably haven't seen this one before...the previous owner put on "the judge" stickers. Anyway, enjoy!

I would cruise around in that anyday. The vinyl top would have to go. I had a 68 or 69 (cant remember) that had a vinyl top. The first thing I did was have the top removed. I dont like it on white or PepperGreen. All other colors I like with vinyl. Thanks for the pics.

Joe out of curiosity was that car by chance in a Michelle Branch/Santana video "Game of Love" a few years ago? If I remember correctly it too was Pepper w/black vinyl roof, and also a GTO that had Judge stripes put on it, looked just like that one. Can't remember if it had a hood tach on it though, I think Michelle was sitting on the hood and maybe blocked it out.

Hi Rory, What color was your 71 that went to Kentucky?? How long ago was it? I think I know where it is.

Dar,
Right you are! It was indeed in that video. Kind of weird that you knew that. It wasn't mine at the time, and I purchased it through a dealer, so I never met the previous owner to hear more of the story. It is one of those weird facts that I was skeptical about, until I searched for the video. There is also a scene in that video of two people kissing in my backseat with the driver's side seat moved forward. I am kind of curious how you found that out, unless you have amazing powers of observation and recollection, or know more to the story.

Sorry Joe, I don't know more to the story, or even how I knew those details about the stripes being added. I do however have a pretty good memory when it comes to Pontiac stuff. As soon as I saw your pictures I thought of that car and I have only seen the video once, which was when the song first came out. Kinda scary, wish my memory was that good for other things. It probably doesn't hurt that Pepper Green is one of my favorite colors though.
I also remember the song sucked, and the video had alot of people in it that were BLOCKING my view of a beautiful car. I imagine you found a copy of that video Joe? Michelle didn't dent the hood did she?

Dar, I am really interested in finding out more to the story about how and why the car was used in the video. I have tried to contact the original owner ( I am #3), named Mike, to find out more about its history, but he is hard to reach. It is interesting that the car was bought in Kentucky, used in the video in Chicago, then ended up in Ormond Beach, FL. Michelle didn't dent the hood, but I sure as heck wouldn't have let her sit on it if it were mine at the time. There are a few other neat cars in the video as well, like the thunderbird in the beginning. If I ever find out anymore info, I will be sure to post it.

Hi Rory, Sorry but I do not get to view this site daily. Looks like judgeragtop beat me to it and was able to give you the info that you needed? The car is in Georgia. Good luck!

Who's Scotty?

IIRC, I "stole" these pics from a for sale ad, either Collector Car online or e-bay.

Where are all the pictures of the 71 Judges? Is there any getting restored or unrestored originals out there? Love to see the photos. Here is one that was sent to me that sold awhile back.
