Default Shaker 455 knows what he's doing!!

Its as simple as that. I had my 71 Trans Am carb rebuilt by a fairly well known rebuilder. After a few calls on tuning to this guy and trying myself chasing a couple issues. The worst one was off idle stumble. I caved and sent Shaker 455 (Jeff) my carb and my non original points dizzy. The turn around time was more than fair and he constantly answered my questions and explained what he did. I put the carb and dizzy in Thursday, then Friday I set timing, dwell, and adjust the idle mixture screws slightly to achieve about 16.5" of vacuum. I drove the car Friday night just a little and it felt way better. I drove the car yesterday all over and it performed better from 750 rpm all the way up!!! I will be sending every carb to him, including the 850 4150 Holley on my 69 and my q jet on my 81TA.

Worth every penny! THANK YOU JEFF!!!
