I thought about eliminating mine when I saw this pic a few years ago but way too much work to make it happen.

I haven't noticed too many liberty blue firebirds in this thread. I didn't realize that this color was not too popular.

The first picture is from the previous owner in early 2009. My dad and I did a restoration on the car in 2009. The rest of the pictures are from late 2009 or sometime in 2010. The car has not changed too much since then. I did a mini resto this summer and cleaned the engine bay back up. Hopefully it will look good for a few years.

The car has the essentials of what I wanted!!
1969 400 4spd A/C PS PB
Previous owner added the T/A style spoiler and I liked it so it stayed. There is a hood tach on the car that apparently wasn't ordered with it. I like that too!!!

I also didn't know how rare the 400 cars were till I bought this one. I do have the original block(not in the car). But this summer I determined that the trans is not original !! Though it appears that the rear end is original.

ENJOY

Here's my '67 drop top 400. 400TH, Manual Disk, picked her up in October. Not perfect, but a real honest car.

Very nice. I wouldn't "kick her out of bed" for eating Cheese Puffs!
