You guys are too funny...I look forward to seeing everyone in August (or maybe at Norwalk).
Mike - Hope you guys had a good and a succesful day. I'm sure it was good based on just the work subject. You working on it tomorrow too? Brew - I'll let Dave know. We were talking today about the TA Nats and he wondered if you were going to get the Silver Bullet ready in time? |

Looks great. You all might not Anna after all.
I'm not sure, but on the left head you might need a few more studded head bolts for the exhaust shroud. |

You're braver than I am Mike. Pics show you lifting and supporting your engine by the carb flange on the intake (original factory aluminum intake no less).
I thought about using my carb plate when I was lifting my engine. As heavy as Pontiacs are, I was too afraid. You've proved you can. Even now looking at yours, I am a little squimish about it. Ponchos weigh a good bit more than those mouse motors. Wasn't afraid of the threads not holding, I was scared the intake might snap. Your engine looks great by the way.

Looks like you guys had fun and that's what this is all about. I hope your host took good care of you and fed you some decent BBQ. You better make sure there is no tracking chip mounted in the oil pan....
The motor looks great, but your dipstick might be a little rusty. Speaking of which, here's the last of NOS Anna K..... |
