I like the idea of a Can Am wagon, that never crossed my mind. Jeff |

Well I made it back from Nebraska with the 73 parts wagon, good trip overall. I now see what the differance in the 73 coupe & sedan rear qts is. The 4-speed wagons rears are so rotted out you can't tell it ever had a lip.
I also learned something strange, the wagons kept the rear qtr lip all the way through 77. as the yard has 75 & 77 wagons & they both have the lip. But the coupe's & sedans don't 74-77 Strange but true. Jeff |

Hello. I am very curious what will be the outcome of this project. I am the proud owner of a 66 Safari 455/4-speed/4.11 Safe-t-trac. Of course, i was not luck enough to find one ALL FACTORY like you were. I had to buid mine from scratch. I have never seen a MT 73-77 wagon. I have owned a 73 GA 4-speed and parted another 73 GA 4-speed, a 76 Lemans 3-speed floor shift. The "parts" from the 73 have found a good home in my 77 GP, 428/4-speed. Here's the wagon. It was a rusted basket case, too. Hope it helps keep you motivated!

What is it with Jeffs and Pontiacs? And Wagons? I have noticed a disproportionate number of guys named Jeff with Pontiacs, have you?

The car is not finished yet. It is a 14 year(!) project. I IS in my shop now. I plan to have it ready for my 20th high school reunion in 2006. The frame came off in '94. The engine was "built" in '97 (still needs to be assembled). The Edelbrock heads purchased in '98. The EFI tunnel ram bought just a few months ago... yes, EFI. It's getting a big turbo, too. Here's my shop. We're all about turbos. www.engineered.net
