Didn't read this Thread at all. Regrets for the worn Exhaust Lobe.

Update
I have been finishing brakes and suspension on the GP and was better just not chasing the misfire until yesterday, I thought one last test to confirm the suspected wiped cam lobe. GP no start , no spark. With ignition on, I have over 12 volts to thick red wire and no power to any of the 3 connections on the other plug. Any tips please, I have a new addition to my automotive electrical inventory, a replacement for a very used 20 year old test light. John L Sent from my SM-X200 using Tapatalk

A bit more research tells me that the module could be buggered.
Thoughts and tips from the many master coaches. JL Sent from my SM-X200 using Tapatalk

I could be wrong(ask wife) but those wires won't cause a misfire. A no start or cutting in or out yes but not a miss. Did you run car with valve cover off to see rocker arm movement? Messy but at idle and for only a minute or two. Ok re read your post you are now dealing with a no start right?

New module installed, engine running and misfiring.
Final test as recommended in the elimination process to diagnose the misfire problem. I will have engine running and spray wd40 over inlet and carbie gaskets to determine if sucking air. Sent from my SM-A426B using Tapatalk

Time to close my thread on this 350 Pontiac.
Final test was car running and spray the inlet gasket area on passenger side, Bingo !!. Reves up sounds clean. I realised the air is full of brake cleaner , I put the air cleaner back on and used wd40 ,picked up revs. I did warm it up and drove it around the block 2 times risking huge fines due to no registration. It drove like a slug. The 350 is dead to me It's got to come out . My 67 Bonneville has a Pontiac Dude 1975 455 and that engine belongs in the 1976 GP. I have the 1967 Bonneville 400 to rebuild and that just costs money. Lucky I'm 65 nearly and got 2 years before I can maybe retire. Lucky I got a community of Pontiac loyal enthusiasts that will steer a bush machinic like me. I got a thread 76 GP Downunder that will continue the big job of engine out and engine in.
