[QUOTE=oldsmobiledave;5701549]My apology for my post. I realize now that the original definition of "cream puff" was the lesser F body cars in stellar original condition.

You are right that a Formula is not a lesser car. I was blinded by the original condition of the car.

Sorry to have wasted your time and muddied up the thread.[/QUOTE

No apology needed Dave, not a big deal (to me)! Yeah we've saw this car before, but it is always nice to an older bird still original. What I never see here is a nice six cylinder version of our favorite variety. I love the simplicity of a base automobile myself. Thanks for posting it back up. Also...nice collection of bad ass Oldsmobile's you got there.

Just asking because I'm curious to these definitions. I don't think lesser is correct. Thinking more basic 350 no scoops or bumps on hood fits better?

But, I have seen this car before and it has been discussed...

Not sure what thread...

Definitely NOT a "girlie car"........but totally worthy....as a cream puff... on steroids....

Verodo Green with a Saddle-up interior is totally cool....especially deluxe.

Overpriced perhaps....for a base 400 automatic....but still...a stellar example of a Van Nuys build with California emissions...

I'd find a place for it in MY barn....if I had an extra 40K to burn...

Cream Puffs go where Trans Am's don't tread.... the land of 2 barrels, open axles, gears like a slow time warp, no scoops, vinyl tops are king, and every bit of shiney trim possible. The cams sound like trolling boat motors... Viva La Puff!

Formula 350's are "Puff-Wanna-Be's".....

Rare cloth insert horsecollars.... if they were black, some would be drooling....

May be first column shift, Custom Interior bird car I have seen. Most standard, my old 72 was.
