Questions: Rear Window, A/C and Rack and Pinion
I have a few questions:
1. Rear Glass: I am having my scratched rear window replaced tomorrow. Looking at the existing installed window, there is a lip. I added two pics, can you tell me if that looks correct. 2. My car didn't have a/c. I am looking to add an aftermarket a/c system. Do I have to remove the fender to install this system like you have too, to install the heater box? 3. I am also looking into power rack and pinion system. CI sells a kit, but it states not for original pontiac motors. Has anyone installed a R/P kit that was bolt on without frame modifications? Thanks for the help! DM3

I can't help with the first 2 but I've seen nothing good about putting rack and pinion systems on a Firebird. The kits are all designed around chevy engines and mounts. If you're on facebook check out the post made by Steve Vanderbilt here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1612...20and%20pinion
