I have A/C and had no problem putting in my speaker. I bought the Hertz Dieci Dual Dash Mount Speaker, DCX2003, from Classic Car Stereos. It sounds pretty good and fits very nice. I also installed a pair of Hertz 6x9 speakers in the rear. It only had 1 speaker back there originally but most Firebirds had their owners install a second speaker, so I did. My Firebird is a plain jane so I don't care if it is completely original. I am building it the way I want it or would have wanted it.

Yeah mine ain't "plain jane", I have actual freaking equity in it So I'm being super careful about my modifications. Nothing visible or irreversible. Seriously, it looks like it just came off the showroom floor, it's like driving a piece of history (for better or worse )
