Default Ohc 6 fuel pump??

I was wondering what you guys thought about buying a new or remanufactured fuel pump listed on epay for the ohc6? Don't the pumps have rubber inside? These pumps are pretty old. Are these pumps rebuildable or does someone rebuild them?? My pump doesn't look like you can open it. I saw a couple on epay and thought I should keep a spare.

Exclamation CRAPSHOOT...

NOS mechanical parts are a crapshoot.
Leave those for the box collectors and go new.

The corn juice/gas would likely take it out in short order.
I've used NOS pumps with a 50/50 ratio of success.

If you rather save some time and avoid possible failure,
just buy a new Chevy 6 pump and make these mods;
