2800 hours for 350,000 "street miles"? What 125 MPH streets?

It's the Grand Theft Auto test.

They idle them for 1000 hours for the Grandma Test

Power brake burnouts for the teenager test.

Put coolant in the oil for the female owner test (my apologies ladies)

Start them once a month for the Mid Life Crisis Test.

Run them for 10 minutes and let them cool off a thousand times for the City Dweller Test.

(Actually I think (and Tom will correct me if I'm wrong) the tests are "pro-rated" .. meaning that a given hour at a given rpm equals the wear and tear of a given number of miles, not necessarily a direct rpm x hours = miles calculation)
