Default 64 cowl/A pillar duct cover

I'm starting a restoration of this 64, it was totaled in the late 1990's, had some partial re-build work done to it, then sat in a warehouse for 20 years... Appears it was hit hard in the drivers fender... When I got it it was partially rebuilt.
here's a few pics...

Taking off the front sheet metal, it looks they used a tempest donor car...
The drivers cowl duct vent? is hammered, and seems like they tried to pull it out, tore some of the seams... How important is this area? Just try to hammer it close? Replace? The fenders mounted, and lined up as is...

Ouch...I'm not a real expert but - I would say you have two real choices. 1) find someone that really knows metal finishing and who can work that back straight or, 2) have it worked back pretty close and then replace with a salvage piece.

Have you had it on a frame machine? If not - I would plan on a trip to get it checked/pulled...

Cool car - mine had taken a front hit too. But escaped damage to that area at the expense of the hood, core support and firewall.

Not sure the newer pieces will be useful, but Ames has...
D124JL 1966-67 COWL SIDE OUTER PANEL, LH (RE) 65.00
D124KL 1966-67 COWL SIDE FRONT PANEL, LH (RE) 65.00
Descriptions might make the hunt easier if nothing else?

Ok, I ordered the cowl, and duct cover pieces from OPG, for a 67, dont make one for the 64...
Looks close, will require some mods, but might get me there!
