Default Throw Out Bearing Install

I'm installing a new throw out bearing in my car.

The bearing has a point on the surface that fits to the throw out fork. Does this point face into the fork or face out of the fork for proper install?

Or does it matter?

Thank you in advance,
Bob

I would point it towards the open end of the clutch fork if I were installing it.

The large flat surface goes towards the pressure plate. Sorry, miss understood. I think it fits in the middle of the fork so it doesn't rotate.

Thanks for the input people.

I did receive direction back for Tech Support at a very well known clutch manufacturer.

"That throw out bearing is designed with an anti-rotation cam, you should put the point to the inside of the ‘C’ on the fork."

People put things on parts for a reason.
