2008 Subaru Hood painting
I ordered a new hood for my wife's car as it has a little shall we say imperfection in it.
It will come with the black primer on it. Other than normal tack-rag etc.. I can paint right over that correct? I've never painted something that I didn't have to take to bare metal and start fresh. Not gonna use BC/CC gonna use single stage enamel. Thanks in advance.  Dave

I would hit it with 400 or 500, don't break through the primer, just take the shine off, seal it and paint!
