Default GTOs ; Prices Going Down?

Pontiac Enthusiast mag had blurb on a 2004 selling on ebay for $11,900.

58,xxx miles.

Blurb went on to say: Neo Goats, they suspect will decline in price.

I decided before I mod my original one, I will buy another one , espically if prices do go down.

I've been looking for an 05 for a few months now and I can say that the 05-06 have been keeping there prices but the 04s have dropped dramatically.

The prices of our old GTO's dropped a WHOLE LOT before they went the other way. Remember, you could buy '64-'74 GTO's in the early 80's for a few hundred dollars? Maybe we don't think an eventual increase will happen with the '04-'06's, but it certainly could.

I would think limited run cars like these find a niche later in life and usually have quite a following. GN, Impalas, etc. are examples.

I will hold on to mine 25 more years and will report back to you.

I've been looking for an '06 for the past couple of weeks and the prices are ranging from $22-$25K for low mileage cars.
Most are black or red which I don't care for so I'm holding out for a nice cyclone grey or blue.
The '04 are abundant and low priced.

With many younger inexperienced driving kids getting these cars, the total numbers left will continue to decline along with the prices. I have seen some post pics of their cars after they totaled them wondering whaaaaa hapien?

I noticed that the '04-'06 GTO's are holding their price better than the beloved '05-'06 Mustangs.

The wife test drove an A4 Spice Red 06 with 3100 from Salerno Pontiac in NJ a few weeks ago. 26.5 They were willing to haggle.
