Default Wheel Well Molding Question

I removed, cleaned up and polished my wheel well molding and was about to screw back on when a thought came to mind. Would it not be better just to use modern 3M auto tape rather than replace the screws? Thanks in advance of response.

I'm not sure I'd want to chance the airflow pulling them off and damaging paint. I put mine back on like the factory designed them to be fastened.

3m is for modern cars not classic's. stainless screws work the best.
