My slicks did not arrive in time so I had to race with my street tires.

Naturally asperated through mufflers on street tires

well..I had to race on street tires and unable to launch the car as it should be launched at a higher RPM...had to pedal it a bit but was surprised I got out as cleanly as I did. 1.55 60 ft. Correct me if I'm wrong but dont guys running 10 teens usually have a 60 in the 1.40 range?

Nice job, you get that thing hooked up and you will have 60 foots in the 1.3s.
My junk 60's in the 1.43-45 range and is not nearly as fast.
You have to have a big aftermarket block engine right ?

My car would 60' in the mid to low 1.40s went 6.38 @ 107. What street tires are you using? How big are the slicks you plan to use?

My 10.30 pass at 132.50 I only has a 1.55 60 ft. Mine should be hitting harder.

low 11:1 neighborhood
Drive to track on pump then switch straight 100 octane Sunoco once at the track. Paid 9.99 per gallon for the Sunoco 100

Have you ever considered trying the combination on pump gas? What heads? Impressive street car.

Nice passes. Especially for street tires

I’m curious of the combo as well. Cam specs if you care to divulge?

375 cfm@750 Hi Ports - 74 cc chamber ..2.25 intake valve ...have flow chart showing up to 850 lift I think @ 385cfm
not sure exact compression....the software guy here (Stan Wiess I think) did an estimate for me...gotta find post ...I have not measured everything with a buret. but in mid 11:1 at highest I think
Comp Cams solid roller 760 lift installed at 104 w/ 108 separation
277 @ .050 both sides
T&D shaft rockers ...1.75
induction is Wenzler Gutsram with 2 660 center squirters ...manifold was a lot of work to get precisely port matched up ... but easy to see because of straight shot
mad dog round port headers with 3.5 inch exhaust and old 40 series flow masters from the early 90s
3300 pound gen 1 firebird less driver
3.73 gears
th400 w brake and anew Coan 10" thats supposed to flash to 5500 - did not get to test it without having the slicks though and had leave starting line at like 3 and then try to nurse it off the line. The trip to the track was only the 3rd time I drove since starting it one week prior and i did stall it up real quick on the brake and it easily went up to 4500 and I stopped cuz was still nervous about evrything.

Suspension is mostly stock but with all the good boltins ...caltrcs, split monos, 9 way single adjustablee rear Calverts and their fixed 90/10s up front

I'm lucky and live within 10 miles of a track. So far I love the converter; it drives like a normal converter and I'll know more when I can launch at max stall with slicks

That's very impressive times, especially with a 1.55 60 ft and a weight of 3500 pounds. 10.17 at 135 mph. Something is working real good. You've definitely have 9's in it when it hooks up. What are you spinning it too? track finish rpm.

Best so far 10.12@133 mph. 1.43 60 ft.
76 Trans am, TKX .81 o/d, 3.73 Moser rearend,
468 with KRE D-ports, Doug headers, 3" Exh.

Only made two full runs so not many chances to watch... pretty sure it was about 6800 as I tried to make a point to look on that 1st pass. More runs and I can answer that better.

I like your combo. Who did your heads ?
You ride has some nice top end pull. I bet you have a 9.90-9.80 in that thing. Is the car legal under 10.00 ?

10.01 is a great ET goal. What RPM does your engine reach doing the 10.1s?
