I stopped dealing with kre when I got my MRI and it was not usable. The situation was handled after allot of time and bs. I now have 3 IA2 blocks and know of many more in this area. I would say 16 at least. No MR1 blocks around here. I think they fixed them and the current blocks they offer are okay. As builders having their own block is a great thing. Why put money in other vendors pockets. I seriously doubt kre would give information on production numbers. I could make a phone call and get the IA2 numbers. Product support is key in return business

Same deal with Dick at IA.... I had a block that had porosity in a cylinder and he offered to send a new block or reimburse us for the repairs.

Now as recent as two years ago when there was a shortage of blocks. Another engine builder I know ordered a block from KRE. When it showed up it had several issues. Jeff said he would take care of it and scheduled a truck to pick up the block without consulting with his customer...the block was picked up, money refunded and a replacement was never offered... Frank and Bob stepped to the plate and helped the gentleman out with a new block from AP.

I am glad it has been so positive for you Paul but you are a shop others have no been as fortunate as you..
