Default 57 Starchief Hood Springs

My first post! Will 57 Chevy hood springs work on my 57 Starchief? Thanks

The hood weight is very similar but not sure about the hinge geometry. Ames offers new hood springs. Simple!

Athens, Alabama. Ames does not have the springs for a 57.

Got the springs from California Restoration Parts. Interesting that the hook end of one of them broke off while installing. They sent me another one which I installed today. Nice to have the hood stay up on it's own!
