My 78’s Phs list option UM1 “Delco gm am radio&stereo 8 tape player”. What radio was used? Looking for a reference so I know what to look for.

That's from my 1978 Dealers Manual, and possibly the Accessories Booklet. Not the best pics as were on file, can redo if needed.
I've noticed before when posting these, one says available in F body, the other doesn't, running change during different time each was printed. |

Many years AM-FM stereo used a separate amplifier box, was '78 like that ?

Most dealer albums are pretty stripped out, the guys take sections out and sell loose. A good one is so full you almost have to take out some sections to get it shut. Last edited by burd; 10-22-2021 at 10:18 AM. |

These came with your car too.
I see them at the swaps often. If you find a 8 track player, I may have a nOS face, I bought a few years ago when they were avail, if you use your 8 track player, it will scratch up,the brushed alum door. I don’t use it since I replaced the face. Delco made a 3 pc plug kit too, if your OG plugs are missing it came with the crimp on PCs to go in the wires, and a schematic where what wire goes where.
