There were 1,768 2+2s total built in 1967. They came in both hardtops and convertibles, but there's no breakdown available on how many of each. They were a stripped down high performance version of a full size car - standard features included the 360hp, 428ci engine, heavy duty shocks, springs and stabilizer bar, dual exhausts, bucket seats, performance axle ratio, chrome rocker covers and air cleaner, and three speed manual transmission.

thanks for the info , given the low production what kind of value would you put on one of these . the interior is in good shape , the motor has been rebuilt , needs a paint job

Expounding upon the question of how many were built, convertibles traditionally made up about 10% of the production of any model. So, for the 2+2 that would figure to about 200 units.
The ACC codes B25 and B80 relate to either trim or interior items that, in this case, are not available as stand-alone options. B80 represents the roof drip rail bright trim that was included in the Decor Group and as part of certain trim packages on up-scale models like the 2+2, Grand Prix or Bonneville. B25 is a component item to which I can find no reference. Probably another trim molding component. As far as current value, the U.S. value gamut runs from $750 ($US) for a no.6 (Parts Car) to $18,000 for a #1 (Excellent) show car. Other values run from $2,000 - #5 (Restorable) , $3,500 - #4 (Good) , $8,000 - #3 (Very Good) ,and $ 12,500 - #2 (Fine). You then need to add values for optional items like the 8-track tape deck, 8-lug aluminum wheels, upgrade engine (428 HO), power items, etc. This car sounds like a 4-5 somewhere in the $5,000- $6,000 ($US) range. What the values for collector U.S. vehicles in NZ are at the moment, I have no idea. |

the only options I can see are the 8 track and power steering and the auto trans
no eight lugs or any power options or a/c , it has painted valve covers and an open air HO type aircleaner , sholuld the aircleaner by like a GTO type ? It has had some body work done on the lower rear quarters around the wheel wells the trunk floor is nice , the paint is weak and has primer over bodywork etc so I would figure about #3 to #4 condition I figure $6k US would be a fair price , he wants a lot more so will have to do some haggling The values of US cars down here is a lot higher than you guys pay cause we have to get them down here on a boat

Standard 400/350hp engine should have a 4bbl AFB w/single, round-shaped-snorkel air cleaner ass'y and painted valve covers. 428/360 will have a 4bbl Q'jet w/single, oval-shaped-snorkel air cleaner ass'y and chrome covers. 428HO/376 will have 4bl Q'jet w/open element air cleaner and chrome covers.

It's actually a 360 or 376 hp -- the 376 had a lopier cam and heavier valves/springs if I recall.
