1970 455, 4.195 bore, 4.25 stroke
6.8 rod, 10.25:1 compression
Hand ported E heads that Dave Bishop machined for 2.20in 1.74ex valves flowed 322in 244ex
Dave's old faithful 235-245 .636in .582ex 112lsa 110ilc
1.65 rockers intake, 1.5" exhaust
Fully ported RPM intake manifold and 950 holley, dynoed with Dave at Richmond's in BC
Peak was 20 numbers different compared to hooker 2" primary A body long tubes
Also did a 459cid 9.7:1 all iron combo old faithful cam, Q jet, SD 265cnc 670 heads with D port RARE 2.5" outlet manifolds that one made 510hp 560tq
Biggest difference between the short manifolds and the long tube headers is tq and hp below peak torque as you don't really have the scavenging effect that headers give, I imagine the long branch manifolds are possibly better but I have no testing with those

No clue if he's there or open. For what it's worth though, I've bought several exhaust items from RARE and have always been happy with the quality. Sure would be nice to know if he's actually there for business. Would be nice to stop in for parts.
Didn't you try to get into the building???
