This is my morbid concern. Collect a crapload of Pontiac cars and parts, die an untimely death, and leave the mess to the family to dispose of.
Hopefully the collector was able to drive and enjoy those cars before his passing...

Nope. Most of the cars Bernie bought were partially disassembled and they stayed that way while he bought more.
That was part of his anti theft strategy. If the car parts were scattered in different parts of the buildings no one could steal the complete car. If you look at the pictures you can see the shiny silver area where he lived. Many different ways to enjoy the Pontiac hobby, that was his.
