Default Inside mirror bracket - '66 vs '67

Not sure I care for the rearview mirror bracket for my '67 GTO, chrome with the plastic cover. Does anyone know if the chrome '66 bracket will fit a '67?

Yes, it will fit. Hole spacing is the same. I believe the '66 attachment screws do not have the washer that retains the '67 plastic surround.
