Muffler selection replacing imco t906
Getting a new exhaust Putin the 71 lemans, 350 with manifolds. Just about stock except for a summit 2800 cam and electronic distributor.
Currently has 14” IMCO T-906 mufflers that have so much drone while cruising, I keep thinking my ears are going to bleed. Started looking at the dynomax super turbo and because of the offset it’s Eather the 17732 (14”)or 14479 (20”) for that brand Keeping the same diameter exhaust (2.25”) when replaced and just want to lesson the drone to hear some music. Any recommendations on these 2 or another brand? |

My favorite muffler brand to use. I recommend the 20" case.

I had a pair of the 20" mufflers on my SS El Camino with headers and an otherwise stock exhaust system.. Fairly quiet until 2500 RPM when they really opened up. No drone at any time.
