Found out that I'm getting transferred to the DC area this summer, so have to sell one of my projects. Currently on eBay with no reserve current bid is $3,300.

Thanks!

Broncos are going for some serious $$ these days, even projects. Hope you get all it's worth.

FWIW...check out this 67 Bronco project on BAT...$20K and the auction just started.

Yeah, I'm still kicking myself for not buying one from the same guy I got my '68 from. He had a very solid driver needing clutch and brake work for $3K.

Wow $12K! Congrats Bulletpruf! Outstanding write up also.

I will never begrudge anyone the money they get when they sell something but can someone explain the huge $$ folks are paying for these Bronco's? The resto cost just based on the amount of parts seems simpler that your typical GTO resto. Is the money solely based on Ford bringing it back to their lineup, kinda like Chrysler brining back the Challenger?
OR Is there some rich billionaire group that has adopted Broncos as their private club vehicles?
Dont get me wrong, They're cool but that money seems crazy.

Someone got a deal on your Bronco.

The one I linked to (pics below) sold for $35,500.

The first and second gen Blazers are selling for huge dollars. They all were rustbuckets and few truly nice originals have survived. Rolling rotted carcasses are selling for $5kplus. I am in the process of restoring my 1970 Blazer that my father ordered new.

I agree with Frank, congrats on getting a good number with the sale. But the prices these things are going for is stupid! Def a flavor of the month kind of thing. The release of the new bronco is fueling the fire. Once the dust settles a bit the price on these will come down. Maybe not super low but it will level off. One sells at a ridiculous price at auction and all of the sudden everyone wants in on the action. Then people realize they are not really $100k vehicles, and the excitement of having one because 'youre supposed to' wears off. They are cool little trucks, wait for 5 years there will be plenty to choose from.

A few years ago we turned this into a decent truck. The owner had bought it about 35 years prior, and beat it to death.

Here it is almost finished. He felt like he had way more into it than he could ever sell it for, at 60K.

Hey Fellas - I shot some YouTube video of my Bronco a few years ago and just revisited it today. It's actually not too bad; I just posted Episode 1 (only 14:00 long) on my YouTube channel - check it out here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1S8MdqwL1o&t=609s

I'll be posting more videos as I edit them; probably about 1 a week.
