Default For the crafters: Brothers SDX-125 ScanNCut machine

To see pictures, go to ebay and search for Brothers SDX-125.

We make carburetor kits. Wanted an easy way to cut one-off carburetor gaskets. These things were advertised with glowing attributes.

So I called Brothers, explained what I was doing, described the gasket material, and see stated she saw no reason why the machine wouldn't cut gasket material, as it will cut poster board up to about 3/16 inch.

So I ordered one - $400. plus freight.

I spent two hours trying to get the machine to cut gasket material (Armstrong N-8090). It plain will not do it! The gasket material is too tough.

The scanning function works beautifully, and I am guessing that if one cut material (quilters) or craft paper (crafters) the machine would be great; but I do not have a need to do that, and the machine is in my way.

Reboxed with all the packing materials in the original box.

Price $250. plus freight. Compare against the prices on Ebay.

Again, 2 hours of use.

Contact me through my website thecarburetorshop.com or via telephone 573-392-7378 (9-12, 1-4 Mon-Tues central time).

Reiterating - it will NOT cut carburetor gaskets!

EDIT to comply with location requirement: we are located in Eldon, Missouri.

Jon.
