Default 76 T/A primer color for Firethorn Red metalic

I thought the primer color for firethorn was light gray. I must be wrong as the hood scoop has turned out very light. What color should the primer be? Thx. Larry

Have you shot a spray out card to find out how many coats it needs?

Don't base any results on the gel coat or primer of a shaker on a TA. Often they ended up a different shade of the correct color. My experience was the car had a medium gray sealer over red oxide primer.
